Bailey Ryan of @wholekitchensink is the first person we think of when it comes to deliciously approachable, Whole30 compliant meals that are made for life on-the-go. And since that’s what we’re all about at ZÜPA NOMA, we’re thrilled to be teaming up with her for a limited edition curated collection of all her favorite ZÜPA NOMA products, aka The Whole Kitchen Sink Sampler!
Bailey is a Whole30 Certified Coach, expert creator of delicious meals that work for real life, devoted dog mamma, and of course veggie lover! We love that she completely understands that life gets complicated and busy. She used to work 12 hour overnight shifts in a hospital and totally practices what she preaches — and designs all her meals and recipes with that in mind.
We sat down with Bailey recently to learn more about her background, her passion for creating meals made for real life, her Whole30 journey, and more:
Q: Why were you inspired to share your favorite ZÜPA products?
A: I was inspired to share because they’ve become such a big part of my healthy eating routine. It’s easy for me to put that on the back burner when life is moving quickly, but ZÜPA makes it EASY. They’re so helpful and totally worth a shot for everyone who is on-the-go and also working to prioritize their health.
Q: Why did you select the specific flavors in your bundle?
A: I picked these flavors because they’re ones I drink quite a bit, and love keeping stocked up on. I also like that they include a good range of flavors and textures so you can find out which of MY favorites will now be YOUR new favorites! There are creamy ones, like Kale Avocado and Cucumber Avocado that taste like a smooth “green juice” type of soup, and more hearty ones like Beet Orange Basil - but all of my choices are refreshing and filling!
Q: Why is ZÜPA so great for someone who works a night shift, like you used to?
A: ZÜPA is AWESOME for night shifts because of how filling they are, it’s a great grab-and-go portable option, and the no-cook component is a huge bonus. Especially for fast-paced fields where you’re always on your feet, ZÜPA is a great go-to!
Q: What are you favorite ZÜPA pairings for a Whole30 mini-meal on-the-go?
A: I love them with an RXBAR, plain cashews, or some compliant deli meat roll-ups with guacamole inside.
Q: What do you think about our new Pumpkin Spice with Collagen flavor?
A: I LOVE this flavor. It’s got to be my favorite. It’s the perfect combo of fall flavors like pumpkin, cinnamon, and sweet potato, but still light and refreshing! I’ve been hiding these from my boyfriend because it’s one of the few flavors I want to keep all to myself...
Q: When are we most likely to find you drinking a ZÜPA?
A: I walk my dogs to the park every morning and usually have a ZÜPA in hand! I also love grabbing them on my way out the door to run errands or to the grocery store so I don’t end up shopping hungry or have to spend time making a mini-meal beforehand!
Q: On a scale from 1-10, how spoiled are your dogs?
A: My dogs are the MOST spoiled. I would go to extreme measures to make sure they’re living their best life, and I do daily! Charlie and Olivia definitely don’t have anything to complain about over here. ;)
Q: What’s your favorite vegetable?
A: My favorite veggie has gotta be brussels sprouts! I have them almost every morning for breakfast, sautéed until crispy with olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic powder. YUM!
Q: What do you love about being a Whole30 Certified Coach?
A: I love getting a front-row seat to seeing people make huge changes in their lives, getting to guide them towards those light bulb moments, and cheering them on as they realize how powerful and capable they are. It’s so rewarding to see people taking control and creating real, lasting change that impacts not only their diet, but eventually their whole life!
Q: What do you talk about in your podcast with @beautyandthebenchpress?
A: We talk about anything and everything weight loss, wellness, binge eating, Whole30 and more from a real-life perspective. As two women who know what it’s like to struggle with health and wellness, we wanted to have a place to connect and share our honest opinion on what health looks like from our experience. We love it!
Q: If you could have any superpower what would it be?
A: Time travel! I’m a huge history nerd, so I’d want to go back and experience the eras and time periods I love learning about.
